ESPN.ESPN’s College GameDay will be in Kalamazoo, Mich. on Saturday. The decision to host College GameDay at Western Michigan this weekend was a surprising one for some. The Broncos are 10-0, but their game this weekend isn’t a particularly enticing one. WMU is set to play 2-8 Buffalo. Many thought GameDay would go to Morgantown, West Virginia, where the Mountaineers are hosting Oklahoma in the Big 12’s biggest game of the season.ESPN college football analyst Kirk Herbstreit explained on Twitter last night why GameDay made the decision it did.“This is more of a tribute to the season that Western Michigan is having and a salute to the “smaller” schools,” he wrote on Twitter.Boulder & Morgantown both deserving-this is more of a tribute to the season that W.Michigan is having & a salute to the “smaller” schools. https://t.co/FCyhLWrYMC— Kirk Herbstreit (@KirkHerbstreit) November 15, 2016GameDay at a non-traditional football power is always a good time. This weekend should be fun.
